Bisky Nobert
Norbert Bisky (Leipzig, 1970) is a German painter, considered one of the most important contemporary artists. Norbert Bisky grows in the GDR. The end of his school years coincided with the fall of the Berlin Wall. From 1994 to 1999 he studied at the Universität der Künste Berlin (with Georg Baselitz in 1994). In 1994 and 1995 he attended the Salzburg Summer Academy in the class of Jim Dine. In 1995 he spent a year studying in Madrid at the Facultad de Bellas Artes of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 1999 he was a Masters student at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Georg Baselitz. The following year he studied at the Foundation Künstlerdorf Schoppingen. Since 2008 he teaches at the Haute Ecole d'Art et de Design in Geneva, Switzerland.
