Gennaro Greco, who was born and lived in Naples at the end of the seventeenth century, was a painter specialized in architectural capriccios and views. During the last years he follows the studies conducted in the production of theater sets, techniques that, together with his knowledge of perspective, he skillfully uses in his paintings, which aroused great appreciation of the public.
