Shirin Neshat, in Persian: شیرین نشاط (Qazvin, 1957), is an Iranian artist, best known for his film and photographic works. She lives and works in his home country and in New York.

In his works, Shirin Neshat, poses a critical eye on Iranian culture, with particular attention to the role of women in society.
